Built from rough-hewn timber, iron bolts, and whatever sharp things were lying around, the Fangthrower Ballista is the kind of siege weapon that says exactly one thing: whoever owns this isn't interested in a fair fight. The crossed beam frame is reinforced at every joint with brutal iron plating and outward-facing spikes, the rope tensioners are wound tight enough to put a bolt through stone, and the whole construction has the look of something that has been repaired in the field more than once and is stronger for it.
A centerpiece prop for siege encounters, bandit camps, goblinoid war parties, or any scene where your players need a visual reminder that the enemy came prepared.
Compatible with all your favourite fantasy tabletop RPG systems.
Why You'll Love It
- Crossed timber frame with iron-reinforced joints and outward spikes that read immediately as a weapon built for intimidation as much as function
- Rope tensioner and crank mechanism detail that rewards careful painting and gives the prop genuine mechanical credibility at the table
- Modular silhouette that works equally well as a fixed emplacement, a lootable objective, or a deployable weapon in an ongoing campaign
FAQs
Sll terrain and props are designed to work at 28-32mm scale, compatible with standard DnD and TTRPG miniatures.
Most small props arrive ready to place on the table with no assembly needed. Larger scenery sets may require some assembly, which we'll specify for individual products.
If you're ever unsure about the size of a terrain piece or whether it requires assembly, feel free to contact us at team@heliostabletop.ca
It depends on the piece. Smaller props are printed in resin, which captures fine detail and holds up well to regular table use. Larger scenery sets are typically printed in filament, which is better suited to bigger structures and terrain pieces. Both materials are high quality and everything is printed in-house at our Toronto studio.
Most orders ship within 2-3 business days from our shop in Toronto, with full tracking on every order.
Some larger scenery sets may take an extra day or two to print depending on the size.
