After a long climb up winding mountain trails, you finally step into the gaping mouth of a large cavern, lit dimly by pools of bubbling lava scattered throughout. Stalagmites rise sharply from the ground, casting eerie shadows in the flickering, crimson glow. Elevated stone platforms, connected by rickety wooden bridges and ramps, crisscross overhead, suggesting far more activity here than the silence currently reveals.
Suddenly, small voices chatter excitedly from the darkness, and the pattering of many clawed feet echoes off the cavern walls. A kobold adorned in feathers and bones leaps onto a rocky platform, flames dancing at the tips of its claws. In a shrill but determined voice, it calls out:
"You trespass in the domain of mighty dragons! Face the wrath of the kobold kin!"
